Biography

Scott J. Hinsch, Jr.

Scott was born and raised in Piqua, Ohio.  He earned a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University and graduated with distinction from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.

During his 35 year banking career, Scott attained the position of President & CEO of 4 banks.  Scott worked 17 years for the First National Cincinnati Corporation / Star Banc Corporation, (NKA: U. S. Bancorp) and served as President & CEO for 3 of their banks.  During his 9 years with Oak Hill Banks, (NKA: WesBanco Bank), he served as President & CEO for 4 years.  Scott enjoyed managing all facets of banking, but his favorite activity was developing the skills of each bank's employees, both officers and non-officers.

Scott and his wife, Marsha, have been married for 35 years.  They have two children and enjoy 2 grandchildren.  Scott enjoys baseball, music from the 50's, 60's & 70's and running.  He recently completed the 2009 New York City Marathon with his daughter, Cari Beth.

He looks forward to sharing his insights on how supervisors can become better at their job, and have fun doing it.
